Ragini Biochemist
Having completed my graduation and post-graduation in biochemistry as my honors subject, I
have developed a thorough understanding in the subject and have practical experience in the
same. I have worked on alpha triplication in thalassemia and identification of antimicrobial
resistance gene in bacterial plasmid. While working on these projects I developed the
expertise to isolate, characterize and study a gene and its function and gained experience in
handling techniques like PCR and DNA sequencing and plenty of microbial and bio clinical
techniques. I have a fair understanding of computational biology and have used software like
R programming for bio-statistical work. I hold a keen interest in protein biology. Besides
biochemistry, I have graduated in mathematics and zoology also as my auxiliary subjects
during my graduation program.
